With his historic blow-out in Indiana, Donald Trump achieved a run of dominating victories like few seen in presidential politics.
Pundits had predicted that he would gain perhaps 30-35 delegates out of Indiana, he finished the night with all 57.
Before that, he was expected to gain 70 out of New York…he took 90.
The following week he was expected to earn 90 from the northeast states, he won 140!
Overall, Trump’s streak of wins netted him 295 delegates to Ted Cruz’s 7!
It is easy to forget that two weeks ago this was still a close race. But clearly the voters have spoken and they have given Donald Trump over half of the delegates and the Republican nomination.
