Democrats all but assure us that they spend far more money than the country has.
Under President Trump, we have the best chance of getting Washington spending under control.
Critics, blatantly ignoring his massive successes, complain that under Trump, the deficit has increased. (it’s been nothing compared to what Obama did).
But beyond the budget increase Trump won for our military, he has a brilliant plan to rein in all areas of the government.
Some have said a “penny plan” can fix spending. Trump has a better idea.

President Trump on Wednesday asked members of his Cabinet to cut their departments’ budgets by 5 percent in what he dubbed the “nickel plan.”
“I am going to ask each of you to come back with a 5 percent budget cut from your various departments,” Trump said during a meeting, adding that the cuts will “get rid of the fat and waste” in the federal government. “I think you’ll all be able to do it.”
“It’s not as tough as you think and frankly there’s a lot of fat in there, but we had to get the military done last time,” Trump told FOX Business’ Stuart Varney in an interview Wednesday.
The biggest way we can prevent runaway government is by curtailing spending.
When the government is forced to tighten its belt, it shrinks. Power-hungry bureaucrats will not have the resources to intrude on private citizens’ lives.
That’s a good thing.

Democratic socialists are itching to take over our government. They want spending to get out of control.
If they get power, they will drive taxes through the roof, expand the deficit, and burn through cash faster than a drunken prom date.
Trump has no intention of letting them have their way. Since slashing regulations and taxes, he is making sure government agencies spend responsibly.
It’s insane to learn the ways our government wastes our cash. They can’t help themselves; it’s almost a disease.
But with this nickel plan, they will be forced to cut back. In some cases, it will have a tremendous impact.
