It’s clear our media is at a low state. Their liberal bias has caused them to betray any journalistic ethics they once held onto.
This has never been more clear in the recent release of unverified documents by joke of a website Buzzfeed, reported by CNN. These news outlets have a clear biased against the incoming President. Instead of covering stories fairly, basing their claims on facts, they have embarrassed themselves and disgraced their profession with a story that is almost entirely fiction.
During yesterday’s press conference, where Donald Trump announced important decisions regarding his business, his press secretary hand to address this ridiculous development. He made it clear that Buzzfeed’s story was fabrication, built on faulty, unverified information. It had all the hallmarks of fake news.
But Trump wasn’t done making his stance clear.
From Allen B. West:
Earlier during his remarks, Trump called Buzzfeed a “failing piece of garbage,” but it was during the question-and-answer session with the press that things got a little…shall we say…heated.
Per Mediaite, As Trump called on reporters for questions, CNN’s Jim Acosta yelled out, “Since you are attacking us, can you give us a question?”
“Not you,” Trump said. “Your organization is terrible!”
Acosta pressed on, “You are attacking our news organization, can you give us a chance to ask a question, sir?” Trump countered by telling him “don’t be rude.”
“I’m not going to give you a question,” Trump responded. “I’m not going to give you a question. You are fake news!”
As those on stage by Trump clapped, Acosta retorted, “Now, Mr. President-elect, that’s not appropriate!”
That’s not appropriate!? No Acosta, what’s inappropriate is releasing a wildly scandalous document that slanders the President-elect without a shred of evidence. What’s inappropriate is calling your organization a news network, when clearly it is just a propaganda arm from the Democratic Party.
CNN and other biased trash heaps that call themselves news outlets do not deserve our attention or respect. They have violated the First Amendment freedoms of the press to spread propaganda and lies that favor the left. They have betrayed America’s trust and rely on the viral nature of the Internet to do their dirty work.
Organizations like them should pay for what they’ve done.
Bonus: Of all people, Chuck Todd makes BuzzFeed eat its own steaming pile in one of the most shocking media events of the past year:
