Donald Trump just scored a huge endorsement.
While Hillary Clinton struggles with poll numbers that paint her as dishonest, with a secretary of State record that showcases her as a subpar leader on foreign policy, and with health issues that are raising serious doubts as to her physical fitness to hold the high White House office, her Republican counterpart is gathering massive steam with the military.
More than 100 members of the Special Forces community signed on to a letter of support for Trump – an elite thumbs-up that was actually delivered to the billionaire businessman in his Trump Tower in New York City on the very 15th anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks that took out the Twin Towers, Breitbart reported.
And adding even more significance to the solemn occasion: the letter was passed along right at 8:46 a.m., the moment in time the first plane hit the World Trade Center.
“This letter is significant because these aren’t people who usually weigh in on politics,” said Scott Kesterson, the president and founder of the Kilroy Rising Political Action Committee, who delivered the letter, Breitbart reported. “Members of this community value their anonymity and that so many were willing to sign this letter shows just how critical this election is for the safety and security of our nation.”
The letter was reprinted in full at Breitbart, but it basically describes the election as one that pits Hillary Clinton’s globalism versus Trump’s “America first” mentality, and says that without borders, our nation will disintegrate.
It opens: “What do you believe in so much that you are willing to sacrifice everything to defend? America has been changed … We will never fully return to the past but we must now choose between remaining a nation and salvaging our Republic, or be transformed by a Leftist insurgency into a Global colony.”
The letter also tells citizens to “honor the mission and legacy of American spirit,” and help fight to win back the nation from those who seek a one world government.
