Donald Trump has had a rough week, to put it mildly. However, he just earned a new supporter whose story is a devastating rebuke to everything Hillary Clinton claims to stand for.
From her book It Takes a Village to the supposed charity work of the Clinton Foundation, we’re supposed to believe that Clinton is a “tireless campaigner” for the rights of women and children. But Trump’s new, outspoken fan says this is all a lie:
Kathy Shelton knows Clinton very well. In 1975, when she was 12 years old, she was brutally raped by a man whom Clinton defended in court.
Shelton recounted how during the court case, Clinton attacked her character, accused her of seeking out older men and blocked forensic evidence that would have locked the monster who raped her away for a long time.
“I don’t think (Clinton’s) for women or girls. I think she’s lying, I think she said anything she can to get in the campaign and win,” Shelton said. “If she was (an advocate for women and children), she wouldn’t have done that to me at 12 years old,” she said.
Shelton also described how Clinton later laughed about her efforts to get her client off.
Many conservatives have known about this story for years. They make up the backbone of many anti-Clinton articles and books. But before this election season, they weren’t mainstream. Now it will be harder than ever for Clinton and the Democrats to keep critics like Shelton out of the spotlight.
