Nancy didn’t think he would dare – you don’t play chicken with Donald. Now America knows where Trump is giving his speech.

Speaker Pelosi is scrambling. She shut down the government to oppose President Trump.

All that has done is hurt hundreds of thousands of federal workers.

Then, she tried to delay the State of the Union address, to prevent Trump from humiliating the Democrats in front of the entire country.

That resulted in a standoff between Trump and the Democrats. But it looks like the Left loses once again.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders stated that the president accepted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) earlier invitation to give the State of the Union in front of the House and “we’re moving forward until something changes on that front.”

Sanders said, “Nancy Pelosi invited the president. He accepted. She cited security concerns as a potential reason to delay that. The United States Secret Service and DHS have addressed those concerns. And we’re moving forward until something changes on that front.”

President Trump is planning on giving his State of the Union to the entire Congress. Her letter was not a clear un-invitation. It was full of political double-speak and lies, and Donald is cutting right through them.

Pelosi tried to cancel this major part of our country’s history just so she wouldn’t get embarrassed.

She’s afraid Trump will use this pivotal speech to slam the left’s petty antics. And she’s right.

President Trump will once again appeal to the nation that we need a strong border. He will illustrate in powerful terms our need for a border wall.

The pressure will only mount against the Democrats. They are having a harder and harder time explaining why they want drug cartels entering the United States.

This is classic Donald Trump. He’s playing by his own rules. America expects a State of the Union, so he’s going to give it to them.

He’s not going to let an aged, confused, bitter politician get in his way.

UPDATE: Nancy Pelosi has given Trump a hard NO on giving the SOTU to Congress. So it looks like he’s moving along to Plan B – which may be at the southern border!

2ND UPDATE: Trump has postponed his State of the Union until the government shutdown is over, and has decided to keep his speech in Washington. Why? Because there is no grander venue for his speech than in the House of Representatives under the Capitol Dome. So we’re just going to have to wait, folks.

But Trump may still have something up his sleeves. We’ll have to see in the coming days.
