Donald Trump unveiled his energy policies Thursday in North Dakota.
While condemning Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, he laid out a series of proposals that are starkly different than the agenda that America has pursued under the Democrat administration and, Trump warned, would accelerate under Clinton.
Needless to say, the enviro-wacko left was not happy. In addition to laying out policies that would lead to energy independence, job growth and greater security, Trump also criticized the climate change cult and the religion of alternative energy by pointing out that wind power is massively expensive, inefficient and damaging to wild life.
Yahoo News covered the speech…
Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, promised on Thursday to roll back some of America’s most ambitious environmental policies, actions that he said would revive the ailing U.S. oil and coal industries and bolster national security.
Trump got specific about the issues he is keen to tackle…
Among the proposals, Trump said he would pull the United States out of the U.N. global climate accord, approve the Keystone XL oil pipeline from Canada and rescind measures by President Barack Obama to cut U.S. emissions and protect waterways from industrial pollution.
The biggest reason for common sense energy policies, according to Trump is national security.
Trump said slashing regulation would help the United States achieve energy independence and reduce America’s reliance on Middle Eastern producers. “Imagine a world in which oil cartels will no longer use energy as a weapon,” he said.
IN laying out his agenda, Trump has drawn a clear line between himself and Hillary Clinton who is deeply in the pockets of the environmentalist who want to roll back 100 years of progress as well as the leftists cronies that benefit from massive government subsidies to fuel their alternative energy pipe dreams.
IN doing so, he has given Americans a clear choice on these key issues.
