Brett Kavanaugh displayed real grace under fire during his hearing. And boy did the Democrats bring the fire.
The totally partisan attacks against Kavanaugh’s character were completely unfounded. Cory Booker, Dianne Feinstein, Kamala Harris, and other Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee were ruthlessly interrogating Kavanaugh.
But Kavanaugh was ready for them.
He stayed focused, categorically denying all charges being brought against him, and even teared up several times while explaining the toll these attacks had taken on him and his family.
“My family and my name have been totally and permanently destroyed by vicious and false additional accusations. This confirmation process has become a national disgrace.”
But he never wavered in his commitment to defend himself.
“I will not be intimidated into withdrawing from this process. The vile threats of violence against my family will not drive me out. You may defeat me in the final vote, but you’ll never get me to quit. Never. I have never sexually assaulted anyone.”
Democrats are claiming Kavanaugh’s testimony was far too emotional, and that his anger makes him unqualified to serve on the bench.
But Kavanaugh’s anger only further proves his innocence. It’s the exact emotion one should have when lies are being told about them. His performance before the committee was commendable.
And the President feels the same way. Now he’s calling on the Senate to vote right away to confirm his pick.
Judge Kavanaugh showed America exactly why I nominated him. His testimony was powerful, honest, and riveting. Democrats’ search and destroy strategy is disgraceful and this process has been a total sham and effort to delay, obstruct, and resist. The Senate must vote!

The Senate is indeed moving forward, and an insider leaked to Townhall that Kavanaugh has the votes to make it out of committee. He also has the votes to be confirmed on the floor for a seat on the U.S. Supreme Court.
The implications of him getting voted in are huge, but it’s not over till every vote is counted
If he does not get confirmed, we must remember the names of every Republican Senator who voted no, and vote them out as soon as possible.
What is being done to Kavanaugh and his family by the Democrats is a travesty, and must not be allowed to succeed.
Even Rachel Mitchell, the prosecutor who questioned Ford and Kavanaugh, told lawmakers after the hearing that based on the evidence she heard, she would not have prosecuted Kavanaugh, or even have been able to get a search warrant.
I hope this whole circus pushes Republican voters to the polls in droves. We cannot ever let the Democrats regain power of our government. They’ve proven that they’re willing to destroy a man’s life to get it.
