BREAKING: President Trump Announces His Supreme Court Pick…Conservatives Are LOVING This!

The 2016 Election hinged on the selection of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s replacement.

Donald J. Trump is going to have some amazing opportunities to affect change for the better in America (and he already has!), but at most he has 8 years to do so.  But he also has the power to appoint at least one, if not two or three, Supreme Court justices who will serve for 30 or 40 years to protect Constitutional freedoms for Americans.

So when Donald Trump was chosen by the American people, they knew they were also choosing the men and women who may be overturning Roe v. Wade, transgender bathrooms, and protecting many other American liberties for the next generation.

And today we have found out from Trump’s own mouth who that man is to replace Antonin Scalia.

From The New York Times:

President Trump on Tuesday nominated Judge Neil M. Gorsuch, a federal appeals court judge in Denver, to fill the Supreme Court seat left open by the death of Justice Antonin Scalia, elevating a jurist whose conservative bent and originalist philosophy fit the mold of the man he would succeed.

Mr. Trump’s announcement, delivered during prime time in the East Room of the White House, marked his first bid to reshape the nation’s highest court.

The above picture is Antonin Scalia spending the day with Neil Gorsuch in Colorado.

The wait was worth it! Instead of the horrible picks that Obama or Hillary Clinton would have given us (Garland was a BAD idea, thank goodness the Senate Republicans held him off!) we now have a strict constructionist who will defend the Constitution as written and do great justice to his predecessor, Antonin Scalia.

Now, the next step is his confirmation. If only the Republicans will follow Trump’s lead if the Democrats follow through with their threats to resist, and go nuclear to make sure he gets through.

What do you think? Did Trump make the best choice for America? Let us know in the comments below!
