More evidence of “undocumented citizens”—aka illegal aliens—making life miserable for taxpayers and seniors.

And this time it’s not just about money; it’s about ripping off assistance systems, which are only for full citizens.

The Department of Justice and Attorney General Jeff Sessions have announced charges against 25 individuals—and 22 of those 25 were illegal aliens.

Thankfully, the DOJ’s’ “Operation Double Trouble” sting operation took down the offenders. As Sessions said:

“Across this city and across America, teachers, truck drivers, construction workers are going to work and paying taxes that are being stolen from the public treasury by fraudsters and criminals.

These government programs are intended to help the poor, the elderly, American citizens. Not those that are trespassing in the country.

This kind of fraud is a theft from our seniors, a theft from our taxpayers, and a theft from the needy, theft from America.”

Darn right.

These imposters stole or copied IDs to pose as American citizens, and tried to get EBT cards, food stamps, and even Medicare.

Most of them were also guilty of drug dealing and violent crimes, in addition to the identity theft. But the latter is the most distressing, as it happens all the time.

Illegals like to use Puerto Rican identities because the Hispanic names likely won’t raise suspicion.

And it worked out terrifyingly well: these hucksters were able to get a driver’s license or state ID, and 19 applied for MassHealth benefits, with one receiving $51,270 in rent subsidies.

Two more snagged over $25,000 in unemployment benefits, too.

All told, the scammers were able to take over $200,000 in taxpayer dollars. The worst part is that this type of thing happens all the time, so this is just the tip of the iceberg.
