Democrats Sent Spinning by Midterm Voter Poll – Americans Overwhelmingly Support Crime-Crackdown Candidates

What’s Happening:

Democrats have tried to salvage their 2022 Election chances by attacking Republicans.

They are desperate to distract from the many failures they committed over the last few years.

But one big blunder is coming back to hurt them. Voters are rejecting the left’s agenda that has seen crime skyrocket.

From Just the News:

Voters largely support policies allowing police to detain suspects charged with violent crimes, a new poll shows…

The poll found that 95.6% of those surveyed “say they are less likely to vote for a candidate who supports policies which prevent police from detaining criminals charged with violent crimes, such as kidnapping and armed robbery.” […]

“Crime is the beneath-the-iceberg issue for voters in 2022, it’s absolutely clear in these numbers,” said Mark Meckler, president of the Convention of States.

Democrats are in big trouble, according to this new poll.

Voters will not support candidates who make cops’ jobs harder. And the margin is overwhelming. Ninety-five percent of voters oppose policies that put criminals back on the streets.

This comes as numerous Democrats push laws in blue cities that reward criminals and tie police hands.

In Illinois, they eliminated cash bail. Police in Chicago can’t even pursue dangerous criminals. In left-leaning Washington, cops can’t even cash fleeing suspects.

Gee, that sounds like a good idea!

In many blue cities, cops are finding it much harder to protect law-abiding citizens. Meanwhile, crime is out of control.

All of this is because of radical, progressive policies from Democrat officials.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden and many within his party are trying to claim they aren’t in favor of hurting police.

Then how do they explain all these anti-police policies?

This poll makes it startlingly clear that voters are not behind candidates who handcuff police.

How will this affect the midterms? We’ll find out.

Key Takeaways:

  • A new poll revealed that 95.6% of voters oppose policies that limit police work.
  • This comes as numerous Democrats push anti-police policy in blue cities.
  • Crime has skyrocketed in cities run by progressive, far-left Democrats.
