While much of America was celebrating the Inauguration of Donald Trump as President of the United States, there were some in Washington ready to fight.
Bitter liberals across America tried to undermine the Inaugural celebrations, by planning protests and other disruptions. Many were planning on endangering the lives of their fellow Americans with stink bombs and other tactics, as Project Veritas uncovered earlier in the week.
And all this during one of the most celebrated inaugurations in American history. When Trump’s Inaugural TV ratings dropped, even Donald was stunned!
While the sick attempts to ruin Trump’s inauguration were thwarted, black-masked anarchists still swarmed D.C. in an effort to disrupt the Inaugural Parade.
In what only could be called a riot, they smashed cars and windows, burned private property and threw rocks and other detritus at police. Local authorities were forced to arrest over 230 of these un-American criminals.
The good news was, none of their attempts disrupted the Inaugural events of the day, as millions watched Donald Trump’s swearing in and the subsequent parade.
But these anarchists are about to face the music.
Most of the approximately 230 protesters arrested on Inauguration Day will be charged with felony rioting, federal prosecutors said.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office said the offense is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. The office said most of those arrested will be released without having to post bail and must return to court in February.
We know that our First Amendment to the Constitution guarantees a citizen’s right to peacefully assemble for protest. While we don’t agree with liberals’ criticism of us and Trump, they have the right to speak.
But when they give their power over to anarchists, they have given up their right to a fair hearing. These individuals don’t respect our freedoms or democracy. They only meant to exploit the disappointment of liberals in order to create chaos and unrest in our nation.
Now they will face the penalty for their unlawful crimes.
Perhaps if Obama was still President, he’d pardon these un-American fiends. But those days are long over.
