So Donald Trump is due to be America’s next president, right?
Not if the left has anything to say about it – even this late in the game, weeks after the election and days before the electors are due to cast their official ballots.
That’s because the left is launching a recount in Wisconsin, supposedly at the request of Jill Stein, the campaign’s semi-official “Who’s That?” Green Party candidate, and as supported by White House loser Hillary Clinton.
But not so fast.
Stein, who won about a million votes – about 1 percent – said reports of hacks and shenanigans at the polls have driven her to demand a recount in Wisconsin. And Camp Clinton, while denying any foul play occurred, has nonetheless joined the recounts.
Still, these efforts to steal the election from Trump are largely futile – especially so, given the remarks from the Obama administration about the Stein-Clinton campaign.
From Politico: “The Obama administration said it has seen no evidence of hackers tampering with the 2016 presidential election, even as recount proceedings began in Wisconsin. ‘We stand behind our election results, which accurately reflect the will of the American people,’ a senior administration official told Politico late Friday.”
The overall message?
Give it up, Clinton.
“Hillary Clinton’s dreams of being president just took an even bigger blow. And from the administration that promoted and defended her White House run. Ouch,” Independent Journal Review reported.
